These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Dashdrop platform — including our mobile app and website. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Dashdrop is a technology platform that connects customers with independent delivery riders. We facilitate the logistics; we are not a party to the contract between you and the merchant or sender of goods unless otherwise stated.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Corporate accounts require authorisation from a company representative.
Orders are confirmed once you receive an in-app confirmation and a rider is assigned. Dashdrop reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders at its discretion — for example, if delivery to the specified address is not possible, or if the order violates these Terms.
You may not use Dashdrop to deliver: illegal substances, weapons, live animals, hazardous materials, or any item whose transport is prohibited by applicable law. Violation may result in immediate account suspension and referral to law enforcement.
All prices shown include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is due at time of order placement. We accept cards, mobile money, and our in-app wallet. In the event of a failed payment, the order may be cancelled.
You may cancel an order within 2 minutes of placement at no charge. After a rider has been assigned and is en route, cancellation fees may apply. See our Refund Policy for full details.
All riders are independent contractors, not Dashdrop employees. While we background-check and train all riders, Dashdrop is not liable for the independent actions of riders beyond what is outlined in our service guarantee.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud, or use the platform in a way that harms other users or Dashdrop. You may close your account at any time from the app settings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of The Gambia. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of The Gambia, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.

We want every delivery to go perfectly. When something goes wrong on our end, we make it right. This policy explains when refunds are issued and how cancellations are handled.
You are entitled to a full refund or free re-delivery in the following circumstances:
If your order is incorrect or incomplete due to the merchant (e.g., wrong item, missing item), please first contact the merchant. If they are unresponsive within 24 hours, contact Dashdrop support and we will mediate on your behalf.
Open the Dashdrop app → go to Order History → select the relevant order → tap "Report an issue". Our support team will review your request within 24 hours. Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method or Dashdrop wallet.
In rare cases, we may cancel your order — for example, if no riders are available in your area or the merchant is closed. In this case, you will receive a full refund automatically within 24 hours.
For refund queries: support@dashdrop.co or use the in-app support chat.

Dashdrop isn't a Western app copy-pasted onto the continent. It's built with unreliable addresses, mobile-first users, and mobile money at its core.
Delivery addresses often don't match a formal grid — so we let customers pin locations and describe landmarks. Connectivity isn't always perfect — so the app degrades gracefully on slow connections. Cash is still widely used — so our wallet and mobile money integrations are first-class, not afterthoughts.
No hidden fees. No surprise charges. You pay for the delivery, and that's it.
Every order is priced per delivery. There are no subscriptions required for standard use — just pay when you order.
Volume-based plans for restaurants, pharmacies, retailers, and logistics teams. Pricing based on monthly delivery volume.
All prices in Gambian Dalasi (GMD). Prices may vary by city. Taxes applied where applicable. See terms.
Join 800+ verified Dashdrop riders across 12 cities. Set your own hours, build your own income, and be part of something growing fast.
We don't micromanage. You decide when you're online and where you ride. Earnings are paid weekly, directly to your mobile money account.
Base pay per delivery plus bonuses for peak hours, high ratings, and consecutive trips. Top riders earn well above minimum wage.
No minimum hours. No shifts. Go online when it suits you, go offline when it doesn't. Your phone is your office.

Dashdrop started with a simple frustration: delivery in our cities was slow, unreliable, and stressful. We decided to fix it.
Dashdrop launched in Banjul in 2022 with 12 riders and a basic app. Within 6 months, demand pushed us to expand across The Gambia. Today we operate in 12+ cities across West Africa, with more launching this year.
What made us grow wasn't a big marketing budget. It was word of mouth — people telling friends "there's an app that actually delivers in 15 minutes." That trust, built delivery by delivery, is the foundation of everything we do.
We're a team of operators, engineers, and logistics thinkers who live in the cities we serve. We know the roads, the traffic, the neighbourhoods. That local knowledge is our real competitive advantage.
When we deliver fast, we're telling our customers their time matters. Every minute of dispatch time we shave is a small act of respect.
Our riders aren't gig workers to be extracted from. They're partners whose income, safety, and dignity matter as much as customer satisfaction.
If your order is late, we'll tell you why. If we make a mistake, we'll own it. Honesty is the only way to build lasting trust.
We don't copy foreign playbooks. We build from scratch for the real conditions of our cities — mobile money, informal addresses, and all.
We're a small, fast-moving team building infrastructure for African cities. If that excites you, we'd love to hear from you.
We're growing fast, which means high ownership, real impact, and problems that have never been solved before in our context.
Small teams mean large scope. You'll own projects end to end, not fragments.
Market-rate salaries benchmarked regionally. Equity for early team members.
Many roles are fully remote across West Africa. We care about output, not location.
